故事发生于2008年5月12日，四川汶川发生了特大地震。“一方有难、八方支援”，全国各地纷纷到达前线救灾，尽自己最大的努力救助受灾群众。山东省日照市莒县东皂湖村的十位农民，第一时间自发地驾驶自家农用三轮车，经历三天四夜，行程三千公里奔赴救灾前线。
小杰是一名常驻横店的群众演员，因为在剧组入戏太深导致当场晕倒，再次醒来的小杰，惊奇的发现自己已经身处“小太阳精神病医院”了，但是小杰对自己是正常人这件事情深信不疑，于是便在医院成立了“越狱三人组”，组团逃跑组内的主要成员包括正直青春的呆萌佛系少年西瓜和“老骥伏枥”的情场高手张大爷。 小组成立后很快三人就进入了逃跑模式，可是就是在一次精密的逃跑被捕后，小杰惊奇的发现自己的队友都消失不见了，同时自己多出了一本日记本。 于是小杰翻开了自己的日记本，不可思议的事情发生了，小杰竟然回到了日记所指的时间轴里。。。伴随着小杰蝴蝶效应的开发引发了一连串不可思议的故事。
