《聊斋》是根据我国古典文学名著《聊斋志异》改编、摄制成的一部大型古装电视系列剧。《聊斋》剧中荟萃了广为流传、脍炙人口的生动故事。《聊斋志异》是一部积极浪漫主义作品。它的浪漫主义精神主要表现在对理想人物的塑造上，特别是表现在由花妖狐魅变来的女性形象上。另外，也表现在对浪漫主义手法的运用上，作者善于运用梦境和上天入地、虚无变幻的大量虚构情节，冲破现实的束缚，表现自己的理想，解决现实中无法解决的矛盾……
