《特区少年》是一部由深圳市中小学生自编自演的百集教育系列连续剧，魏宾仁先生担任总导演。本剧以“服务少儿教育，树立社会主义荣辱瞧”为主题，反映当代深圳少年儿童现实生活的百集少儿系列剧。
専業主婦の有元光（内山理名）は、夫・大（永井大）と息子の３人暮らし。ある日、過労で倒れた父・泰造（舘ひろし）の様子を見にいくと、医師からガンで余命４日と告げられる。幼くして亡くなった兄の代わりに光を社長にしようと育ててきた泰造に反発、専業主婦となった光。病床の父を前にしても、自分の気持ちを素直に伝えられない。しかし光は、町工場を守ろうとする父の思いを知り、ついに社長を継ぐと決意。その言葉を聞いて、泰造は息絶える。 社長になると宣言した光に次々試練がやってくる。頼るつもりでいた夫は単身赴任で渡米。光をお飾り社長として見る幹部社員の勝俣（竹中直人）や純三（柳沢慎吾）たちは、光がやることに猛反発。取引先の銀行からは、女性と軽くあしらわれ、別の工場との合併を迫られる。光にとって、町工場を守ることは、亡くなった父・泰造と交わした約束。果たして、光は、町工場を立て直すことができるのか？
