澳大利亚1993年洛夫·德·希尔执导的R级黑色喜剧片，在93年威尼斯影展引起相当大震撼，并获得评审团特别奖，澳洲AFI电影奖最佳导演、最佳男主角等四项大奖，被称为90年代电影史上最重要的作品之一。
在这部疯狂而又深刻的片子里，导演洛夫·德·希尔把他的镜头直接指向了社会：善于模仿而又诚实的巴比就像一个镜子一样，照出了世间的万象，在他无知的种种可笑中，隐藏着奇特的庄严与悲哀。世间情态种种掩饰的面纱在他的模仿下，尽如掀裙子般被掀去，只余下杂乱而又可叹的本质。男主角扮演者克．霍伯在本片中表现出了惊人的表演潜力，巴比的纯真无知而又令人怜惜的性格让他演绎得淋漓尽致。本片在当年的威尼斯影展上引起震撼，并获得评审特别奖。
