《丈母娘来了》根据家庭情感剧作家阑珊的《丈母娘来了》小说改编。探讨“80后婚房之痛”的电视剧《丈母娘来了》是热播剧《婆婆来了》的续篇，以“刚需是否让丈母娘成为房价推手”为切入点，将镜头对准那些饱尝婚房之痛的80后。该剧讲述的是“丈母娘”对“未来女婿”在房子、车子、票子等方面有着严格要求，从而引发出一系列啼笑皆非又让人心酸的故事。
