故事发生在2003年的夏天，朵朵（杨子姗 饰）是刚刚踏出校园大门的应届毕业生，对未来充满了希冀和幻想。一次偶然中，朵朵和一个名叫贺言（郑恺 饰）的男人产生了矛盾，两人互不相让闹得不可开交。之后，朵朵在机缘巧合之下进入了贺言所在的公司工作，贺言成为了他的上司。
